Mochlos is a really charming seaside village tucked away a few kilometres from the natinal road running from Sitia to Aghos Nikolaos. The village has a great selection of fish restaurants and cafeterias whilst still remaining unspoilt by mass tourism. There is a very pretty coastline along this stretch, an archaelogical site close by as well as the island of Psira, which was home to a Minoan settlement. There is a regular bus service which runs from Sitia, Agios Nikolaos and on to Heraklion.
